Cerdec’s division in Frankfurt, Germany, offered its assistance by introducing its recently developed and patented Dosierpalette, or big bag dosing device. The unit is portable, inexpensive, and reported to be very accurate. The Cerdec AG doser was designed to enable the partial discharge of products from bulk bag packaging. The unit consists of a frame that contains a small hopper equipped with an access door and a 10-in. single diaphragm iris valve.
